What is the purpose of the book:                                                             

 The purpose of the Genesis is that it brings inspired stories and traditions together.It also reveals Israels understanding of Gods nature and purpose and the beginning of the israelites relationship with God. Israelites are a member of the ancient hebrew nation,especially from the Exodus to the babylonian captivity.

What is the Genre? The genre is historical because it shows the story of the "beginning".

Who are some of the Characters:The characters were, Cain,Abel,Noah,Adam,Eve,Abraham,Sarai,Ishmael,Isaac,Rebekah,Joseph and Jacob.

Who was the author?People believe that the book Genesis is made up of traditions being passed down and Moses borrowed them.

Summary:The Genesis means "beginning".This book contains stories of prehistory and stores of patriarchs.

The Book Of Proverbs!

1. What is the purpose of the book?
The book of Proverbs is called itself, because it consists of wise and weighty sentences: showing the morals of men and directing them to wisdom and virtue. The full purpose of this book in the bible is to show a list of morals to give to the people for them to learn and show. It will make wise and people and give them virtue. They educate the reader on how to live a good life.

2. What is the genre? (law, poetry, history, prophets)
Law - because it has lists and lists of rules and lessons and they have been in-forced through time and everyone is expected to show living a good life.

3. Who are some of the characters?
There are no characters in this book, it is someone speaking and telling the rules of how to live a good life, the people of the world are the only ones talked about in the book of Proverbs.

4. Who was the Author?
King Solomon, famous for his wisdom, is credited as one of the authors of Proverbs. Other contributors include a group of men called "The Wise," Agur, and King Lemuel.
